Police said two Sun Prairie men attempting to buy drugs were robbed on Madison's south side Sunday morning.

The Madison Police Department said the two men who were robbed -- both 25 years old -- were driving on the 2000 block of Post Road at 2:08 a.m. 

Two men who the Sun Prairie men believed were drug dealers got into the back of the car. One of the men entering the car had a handgun and stole one of the car occupants' cellphone, according to the report. 

The robbers also broke out one of the car's windows before fleeing, police said. 

One of the robbers was described as black, between 20-25 years old, weighing 200 pounds, the report noted. He had a goatee and mustache and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
