Police look for iPhone thieves | Crime
Two teenagers robbed another teenager of his iPhone Wednesday afternoon on Madison’s south side, police said.
A 13-year-old was walking on Turbot Drive around 3:30 p.m. looking down at his iPhone when two older boys approached him, according to a release.
Police said the two older boys reached out and grabbed the 13-year-old’s iPhone as they walked past him.
The two thieves split up and fled in different directions, according to the release.
The boys are described as being black 16- to 17-year-olds. One of the robbers is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing a blue zip-up sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other robber is described as being 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
