Robbers push man off bike, rifle through pockets | Crime
Police said a Madison man was mugged while biking on the south side.
The Madison Police Department said a 29-year-old man came to the South Police District station Monday morning to report a robbery from the night prior.
He said he was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk on the 3100 block of Todd Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday night when someone pushed him.
The 29-year-old said he fell and hit his head. He said he he briefly lost consciousness.
When he came to, he saw two men, one of whom was rifling through his pockets, the victim told police. The robbers took off with the his wallet and cell phone.
Police said he could not provide good descriptions of the robbers.
